Does the MacOSX version of typeSmart work on both Mac OS9 and OSX?

The MacOSX Edition of typeSmart version 3.2 or higher is so-called ‘Carbon’ software and thus works on both systems. It also works on Mac OS 8.6 and higher, but for MacOS 8.6 9.x, the CarbonLib 1.4 or later extension is needed (CarbonLib 1.6 preferred).

If you sometimes boot your Mac in OS9 and sometimes in OSX, make sure you have not installed typeSmart twice, as the systems may get confused and open typeSmart in OSX Classic Mode.

TypeSmart does NOT work properly in OSX Classic Mode because of technical issues beyond our control.
